Beautfiul victorian houses that a few years ago were being left to rack and ruin, then the chattering classes got hold of them and the average price is $2.2 million (AUS). They seem from the photos in estate (real) agents to be like the wardrobe in The Lion W and W.
These are just around the corner from Junior along with this Chinese temple which he has failed to spot in 3 years.
But this area is big enough for him to find..strange as there is no food there..anyway before it was tarted up it was Sydney's answer to Hull's Bankside...all the filthy industries such as tanneries etc spewing muck into it. In the background is the Anzac Bridge and also Sydney HB peeping out to its right.
Because of the muck, all fish etc caught this side of Sydney Harbour Bridge have to be thrown back and not eaten...thinking caps on....What about the ones that emigrated beyond and got caught, what is being served at the Marriott near (to be said in impressed tones) "The Rocks".
As you walk round the corner you get a new bit of skyline. Complete with fishmarket (long, blue building).
Is it only me who remembers the creatures inserted in captives' ears in Star Trek - Wrath of Khan?
More of the torment from these later. Keep up P has his walking legs on (yes this is still the same day)....on to Darling Harbour and another Sydney skyline
A brief snapshot of 400 years of boating
And just for Junior
It's not just in Texan WalmartsMeanwhile 30 feet up
Onward we go, past the cruise ship you saw in the background of 400 years of boating to:
My legs are now 2 inches shorter and to add insult to injury we are being bitten to b..g...y by dinner plate sized mossies whilst resting and watching the young, beautiful and Kylie/Mel Gibbo wannabes make out with their personal trainers and gym buddies, (they cleared a space for us).
And then a familiar image from a different angle...
And then to an ...............................Oompah bar complete with lederhosen, buzzoms and a man tucking into a mastodon sized pork knuckle.
And then the sun sets and we look across the bridge...How freaky is that for a fun park entrance
if this had been the grand entrance to Hull fair I would never have hooked a duck or snapped brandy until I was at least 26...
Sorry I have to finish with something soothing...oh look the Opera House ...well at least it differs being a night shot..
Night night, love stumpy.
